iPad Resources Up the Wazoo

April 21, 2011

Next year at the American Embassy School, in New Delhi we are running an iPad pilot in the Elementary School, Middle School and High School.  Each school will receive 20 iPads to use with our students.   Will we get more in the future?  That remains to be seen, but the more we share our resources and pool together what we know works for kids, the better off we'll be.

Below you will find a list of articles, blogs and wikis I have been reading and bookmarking on iPads that I think might be helpful for my fellow colleagues as we venture down this path:

A wiki that breaks down appropriate apps per grade level

Everything you could ever want to know about an iPad

A list of apps and resources for administrators

A list of the top 200 Education apps

Apps for writing

iPad apps to love

iPad apps specifically for MS

Web 2.0's list of amazing resources

Great resource for iPad ideas in the classroom

Another amazing list of resources

Great resource for iPads-the Victorian Government iPads for Learning portal

The hottest apps according to ADE (Apple Distinguished Educators)

Apps listed by age group

If you know of some more great resources, please feel free to list them here.  After all, if we can't help one another, why are we in education to begin with?
